Length of course (hours): 09:00 – 16:00   Number of sessions: 2 Fees (if applicable) £30.00 + £20.00 flowers (full) £15.00+£20.00 flowers (concession) Entry requirements: The course is suitable for all levels of learners, from the complete beginner to the advanced, and appropriate support will be provided for all. What you need to bring: Please bring scissors if you can and any foliage or containers you may wish to use.   Resources used: Flowers Scissors Ribbon How you will learn: A practical course where students will make a minimum of 4 arrangements with the materials supplied. There will be a variety of designs demonstrated and students are encouraged to develop their own design skills with help and encouragement when wanted. How your progress will be recorded: Using the Personal Learning Record Assessment methods: Tutor observation with guidance and support for all learners     Description of the course: This course will introduce students to the opportunities within the floristry industry. Students will gain practical floristry skills such as the principles and elements of design, selling and promotion of their products as well as gain an understanding of the industry. Students will have the chance to try different styles of arrangement using a mixture of fresh and artificial materials.
